ERASURE return to Liverpool next April

Synth-pop legends Erasure are set to make their triumphant return to Liverpool on 28 April 2027, bringing their highly anticipated Radio!! Radio!! Tour to the iconic M&S Bank Arena on the Mersey waterfront. The show marks a momentous homecoming to the city’s docklands, offering local music lovers a front-row seat for one of the most enduring acts in British pop history.

The Liverpool date is part of an intensive tour supporting their twentieth studio album, Radio!! Radio!!. It will kick off at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on 25 April and conclude on 28 May at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena. Erasure will play in many of the continent’s biggest arenas – including Manchester’s AO Arena, London’s The O2, and Copenhagen’s Royal Arena – reflecting their massive popularity across Europe and promising a spectacular production for their audiences. Adding a major point of interest for Scouse concertgoers, Liverpool’s own electronic musicians Ladytron have been confirmed as special guests for all the UK and Ireland dates.

While frontman Andy Bell will take center stage to perform the group’s classic anthems alongside fresh material, co-founder Vince Clarke will serve uniquely as the tour’s Musical Director. Explaining the decision, Clarke said:
“I recently moved to California from New York, and I travelled from here to London. The travelling took a toll, it really messed me up. I never seemed to recover from it. I just thought, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore’. I told Andy, and he made me musical director, and I thought, ‘how fantastic is that?’ I can do all my work and all my direction from here, but I don’t have to leave sunny San Diego.”

Erasure have been releasing an impressive number of albums and singles over the years, ever since their formation in 1985. After more than four decades of activity, the duo have collected many records and won significant industry prizes as well. Most notably, they received the BRIT Award in 1989 for Best British Group and won the prestigious Ivor Novello Award in 1991 for “Blue Savannah”, in the Most Performed Group category. Their legacy continues to inspire generations of music lovers both in the UK and internationally.

For music enthusiasts in Liverpool, this upcoming concert will be the perfect opportunity to have fun while enjoying their much-loved music live. Combining timeless classic hits such as “A Little Respect” and “Sometimes” with fresh material from their latest album Radio!! Radio!!, set for release on 12 March 2027, the show is expected to be one of the major cultural highlights of the spring season for the local community.
