Eilidh Campbell earned her BSc in Infectious Diseases from the University of Edinburgh in 2024, before remaining at the university to complete her MScR in Infectious Diseases in 2025. During her studies, her research focused on bat species’ immunity and the mechanisms that allow them to carry various viruses. In autumn 2025, she moved to Liverpool to begin her PhD, which focuses on the endogenous bunyaviruses of Leishmania parasites.
