The plot
Set on the fictional Greek island of Kalokairi, this heartwarming story revolves around Sophie, a 20-year-old bride-to-be who dreams of her father walking her down the aisle. The only problem is that she has no idea who her father is. After reading her mother Donna’s secret diary, she discovers old entries describing dates with three possible fathers, whom she decides to invite to her wedding without telling Donna. This hilarious and engaging plot is accompanied by the most iconic ABBA songs from the Swedish pop/dance group, active from 1972 to 1982, which made history with its music as one of the most popular international pop groups of all time.
