As reported by BusinessCloud, Everton said the new offering is intended to give supporters “more value from it as Evertonians,” while providing mobile plans that are “straightforward, flexible and competitively priced.” The launch was also covered by ISPreview, which described Everton Mobile as a new virtual mobile provider operating through a SIM-only model.

What is Everton Mobile?

Everton Mobile is a SIM-only mobile service launched by Everton Football Club. It allows supporters to use their existing handset, retain their current phone number and choose between mobile plans that include calls, texts and data alongside club-related rewards.

Unlike a handset-inclusive contract, a SIM-only service provides mobile connectivity without requiring customers to buy a new phone. Everton says customers can switch using free PAC porting, which enables them to keep their existing mobile number.

The service is eSIM-only, according to information provided by Everton FC to ISPreview. Customers can choose whether to use the O2 or Vodafone network when signing up.

How much do Everton Mobile plans cost?

Everton Mobile offers three plans, starting from £15 per month. The Essential and Plus plans are available on 30-day rolling agreements, while the Ultimate plan is available only on a 24-month agreement.

PlanMonthly priceAgreementCore allowanceEverton-related benefits
Everton Essential£1530-day rollingUnlimited UK minutes and texts; 25GB UK dataChances to win stadium tours
Everton Plus£2030-day rollingUnlimited UK data, minutes and textsChances to win signed shirts and stadium tours
Everton Ultimate£2524 monthsUnlimited UK data, minutes and texts; 35GB EU roaming dataOpportunities to win the service’s biggest prizes and experiences for the men’s and women’s teams

As reported by ISPreview, Ultimate customers will have opportunities to win match tickets, Premium Experiences, stadium tours, signed shirts and exclusive calls with Everton players throughout the season.

Can fans keep their number and handset?

Yes. Everton says Everton Mobile customers can keep their existing handset and retain their current mobile number when switching. The club says switching is straightforward and that free PAC porting is available.

Because the service is SIM-only, supporters do not need to purchase a new device through Everton. The club has also confirmed that the service uses eSIM technology rather than a physical SIM card.

Which networks does Everton Mobile use?

Everton Mobile provides access to either the O2 or Vodafone network. Customers can select their preferred network during sign-up.

ISPreview noted that the ability to choose between two networks is unusual for a conventional mobile service, and initially sought clarification from the club. Everton subsequently confirmed that customers would be able to choose between O2 and Vodafone at sign-up.

What launch offer is available?

Everton is offering a limited-time incentive for customers choosing the Ultimate plan. Eligible customers who join before 11:59pm on Sunday 25 October 2026 will receive a complimentary Forever Blue+ Membership for the 2027/28 season.

As reported by ISPreview, the membership is non-transferable and must be used by the named Everton Mobile customer. Supporters who are already Season Ticket Members for 2027/28 will instead receive an upgrade to Season Ticket+.

BusinessCloud reported that Everton chief revenue officer Aaron Duckmanton said the additional Forever Blue+ or Season Ticket+ offer makes the Ultimate launch proposition “even stronger.”

What did Everton say about the launch?

Aaron Duckmanton, Everton’s chief revenue officer, said the thinking behind Everton Mobile was to create a service that supporters already need while adding club-specific value.

As reported by BusinessCloud, Duckmanton said: “The thinking behind Everton Mobile was simple: this is a service all supporters have a need for so how can we give them more value from it as Evertonians?”

He added that Everton had worked to create plans that are “straightforward, flexible and competitively priced,” with access to the O2 or Vodafone networks.

Duckmanton also said the club wanted to offer something a usual mobile provider could not: “opportunities and experiences that bring them closer to their club.”

He continued: “From signed shirts and stadium tours to match tickets, premium experiences and opportunities with our players, we want there to be genuine Everton value built into the service.”

How does Everton Mobile differ from standard mobile providers?

Everton Mobile differs from standard mobile providers primarily through its club-linked rewards. Alongside calls, texts and data, customers can enter opportunities to win Everton-related prizes and experiences.

The Essential plan includes chances to win stadium tours, while Plus adds opportunities to win signed shirts as well as stadium tours. Ultimate includes access to the largest prize pool, including match tickets, premium experiences, signed shirts, stadium tours and exclusive calls with Everton players.

The Ultimate plan also includes 35GB of EU roaming data, according to ISPreview’s summary of the plans.

Is Everton Mobile available on a rolling contract?

The Essential and Plus plans are available on 30-day rolling agreements, meaning customers can cancel at any time. The Ultimate plan is different: it requires a 24-month agreement.

This distinction may matter to supporters comparing flexibility with rewards. The lower-cost plans offer month-to-month flexibility, while the Ultimate plan carries a longer commitment but includes greater data allowances, EU roaming and access to the club’s most extensive prize and experience offers.

What has been reported about the service’s availability?

At the time of ISPreview’s initial report, the Everton Mobile website was not yet online, although the publication said it was expected to go live shortly. ISPreview also said it had not yet been able to verify every detail of the service before Everton provided clarification.

ISPreview later updated its report after Everton FC confirmed that the service is all eSIM and that customers can choose between the O2 and Vodafone networks during sign-up.

Background of the development

Everton Mobile forms part of a wider trend in which organisations, including sports clubs, launch mobile services under their own brand while using established network infrastructure. ISPreview described Everton as joining “the fray” of new virtual mobile providers with a SIM-only service.

The club’s announcement positions mobile connectivity as a fan-engagement product as well as a telecommunications service. Everton says the plans are intended to provide standard mobile benefits while creating opportunities for supporters to access signed shirts, stadium tours, match tickets, premium experiences and opportunities involving players.

The launch also follows Everton’s existing use of digital and mobile channels to engage supporters. A separate Campaign report from an earlier period described the club partnering with Mobile Media Production and ikan-media to launch mobile services including competitions, quizzes, text comments and “man of the match” voting, with Oxygen8 Communications providing infrastructure for the SHOUTLIVE.NET messaging platform.

Everton chief revenue officer Aaron Duckmanton framed the new service as an extension of that supporter-focused approach, saying the club wanted “genuine Everton value” built into the offering.

Prediction: What could Everton Mobile mean for fans?

For Everton supporters, the development could make club-related experiences more accessible through an everyday service they already pay for. Fans who choose Ultimate may see the greatest direct benefit, with access to prize draws involving match tickets, premium experiences, signed shirts, stadium tours and player calls.

For fans who value flexibility, Essential and Plus may be more suitable because they operate on 30-day rolling agreements. Those considering Ultimate will need to weigh the 24-month commitment against the additional data allowance, EU roaming and club-experience incentives.

For mobile consumers more widely, Everton Mobile adds another branded SIM-only option to the UK market. Its use of O2 or Vodafone network coverage, eSIM-only activation and number-porting support means supporters can compare it with existing providers on price, coverage, data allowances and contract terms before switching.
