South African pop and R&B sensation Tyla is set to light up UK stages this October with four nforgettable shows, as part of her highly anticipated A*POP World Tour. Bringing her signature style and energetic blend of genres to local fans, the Johannesburg-born artist will kick off her short UK leg in London, performing at O2 Academy Brixton on 15 and 16 October, before heading to O2 Academy Glasgow on 18 October and concluding at O2 Academy Manchester on 19 October.
The tour supports TYLA’s second studio album, A*POP, a 14-track project featuring standout collaborations with popular artists such as Babalwa M, Liquideep and MaWhoo. Since its release on 24 July 2026, A*POP has received positive reviews, and its fusion of different genres has been widely appreciated by listeners. The album’s most popular tracks are “She Did It Again” featuring Zara Larsson, “Is It” and, topping the list, “Chanel”, with more than 400 million streams.
Since releasing her hit “Water” in 2023, the Grammy-winning popiano singer has shown signs of maturing. In February 2026, TYLA told Rolling Stone that A*POP represents a shift from her previous mindset:
“Me being in it, I feel so different to how I felt during the first album… I’m just excited for my new one that’s coming this year. Just to see how different it is – like, what’s this Tyla now?”
This album clearly marks an evolution from her earlier way of making music, and fans attending her upcoming gigs will have the chance to have fun while witnessing this change first-hand.
First breaking onto the international scene with her late-2019 debut single “Getting late” featuring Kooldrink – which exploded globally thanks to viral TikTok trends – TYLA has rapidly solidified her place in modern pop.
