Rupert Lowe’s Restore Britain Party launched in Runcorn, Helsby, and The Wirral last week at an exclusive party. On the 24th of July, speakers Charlie Downes, Orla Minihane, Frank Wright and Maria Bowtell headlined the event which was, according to their Facebook, a sell-out. The event featured numerous speakers, with Chris Littlewood, a volunteer, acting as M.C., and started the night off with a video of Winston Churchill making a speech against ‘monstrous tyranny’, before moving into a compilation of British achievements through the World War victories, the 1966 World Cup final, and thusly photos of Restore’s campaigning.

Restore Britain is a breakaway party from Reform UK led by Rupert Lowe who, after a falling out with Reform due to claims of bullying. Reform claimed that Lowe refused to co-operate with the investigation but this has been denied. Restore is considered to be further to the right of Reform, advocating for the mass deportation of foreign nationals. Restore Britain’s views include a referendum on the reinstating of the death penalty, a banning of Islamic headdresses, the legalisation of pepper-spray possession and a withdrawing of public funding from the BBC. The banning of kosher and halal slaughter has also been supported by Restore.

Whilst Lowe is the only MP in Parliament for Restore, holding the constituency of Great Yarmouth, many view Restore as a further-right alternative to Nigel Farage’s Reform party. More of it’s views include the prioritisation of British people within the NHS (vowing to accept the ‘ultra-high skilled migrants’), a repeal of the Online Safety Act to safeguard investigative journalism, and to take away the ‘government pressure to censor’. It would quash all convictions for non-violent breaches of lockdown rules and launch independent inquiries as to the side-effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Restore has gained significant popularity amongst the far-right, with some supporters including Tommy Robinson, and the leadership of White Nationalist group ‘Patriotic Alternative’, who support immigration only if there is an ethnic connection or provable British ancestry. Their founder, Mark Collett, has before referred to black people as ‘AIDS monkeys’ and declared his admiration for Adolf Hitler in a Channel 4 documentary ‘Young, Nazi, and Proud’. Another member of Patriotic Alternative, a skin-head girl called Alina Burn, was convicted of attempting to murder Mohammed Mahmoodi on the 2nd of August 2025. She was given a 19-and-a-half years in prison. They have also been endorsed by billionaire Elon Musk as ‘the only way to save Britain’.

Rupert Lowe has denied that Restore Britain is a fascist or racist organisation, and insists that it is the ‘common sense party’. Whether they will get any traction in the constituencies remains to be seen. Reform had only taken Runcorn from Labour by a meagre six votes, and the arrival of Andy Burnham has seen Labour lead in the polls for the first time since March of 2025. The support for Restore Britain by Neo-Nazi groups continues to damage their political image, even after Rupert Lowe has said explicitly:

‘I detest neo-nazis’.
